More than a taste — it’s a tradition.

Our Story

It all started with an idea — not just to open a business, but to bring the authentic flavors of Guerrero, México to a new community. La Guerrerense Heladería was built on memories, tradition, and the belief that something hecho con amor tastes different — and better.

From long days learning how to make everything from scratch in Guerrero, to arriving in the U.S. with big dreams and a strong work ethic, this heladería is a reflection of culture, heart, and food that brings people together.

The name “La Guerrerense” represents the spirit of our roots and community — fighters and dreamers who never give up. Now, we’re proud to share those flavors — and that energy — in every paleta, agua fresca, and mangonada we serve.

Made by Hand with Heart

We don’t overthink it. We just do it right. Everything is homemade — no shortcuts, no powders, no fakes. Just real fruit, real flavor, and real passion to make our community proud.

The shop is always growing, always changing, just like our story. And that’s the beauty of it. As long as we stay true to our roots, we know the flavor will speak for itself.

“Venimos de Guerrero. Allá aprendimos a hacer todo desde cero, y aquí seguimos igual. Todo es hecho por nosotras — y con amor.”

"We’re from Guerrero. That’s where we learned to make everything from scratch, and we still do it the same way here. Everything is made by us — and with love."
